The use of dimensional variables and inclusion of multiple levels of analyses is particularly encouraged.

Deadline to submit applications is Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019

Decision notifications will be sent via email no later than Friday, Dec. 6, 2019. If you’d like to apply for an abstract and a poster, please submit two separate applications.

The University of Alaska Fairbanks Center for One Health Research will partner with the U.S. Department of State to host the international conference, One Health, One Future from March 11-14, 2020 in Fairbanks, Alaska.

This event is expected to be the largest circumpolar One Health conference held in the United States in 2020, with participation anticipated from across the Arctic region.

This event is part of the United States contribution to One Arctic, One Health, an Arctic Council project now in its fifth year of operation. The project aims to develop a circumpolar network of One Health experts that can share knowledge, conduct exercises, and spur collaborative investigations of One Health phenomena.

Topics:
Those presenting in all areas of research and public health relating to American Indian/Alaska Native populations are encouraged to submit an abstract form. Topic areas may include, but are not limited to, mental health, holistic wellness, tobacco prevention/cessation, substance abuse prevention, behavioral health, policy and advocacy, social media/traditional media strategies, opioid misuse prevention, youth wellness, male health, female health, oral health, elder health, fitness, and nutrition.
