The National Indian Health Board (NIHB) is pleased to announce Supporting Tribes to Increase Commercial Tobacco Cessation made possible through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Office on Smoking and Health cooperative agreement #OT-1803. This opportunity continues NIHB’s commitment to strengthening Tribal public health capacity by offering support and technical assistance to Tribes for projects designed to implement proven strategies to increase quitting and quit attempts of commercial tobacco among American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN).

Collaborative Minority Health and Health Disparities Research with Tribal Epidemiology Centers (R01)
The purpose of this initiative is to support collaborative research between Tribal Epidemiology Centers and extramural investigators on topics related to minority health and health disparities in American Indian / Alaska Native (AI/AN) populations.

This notice announces the opportunity to apply for funding under the Centers of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Education, Science, and Practice (Centers of Excellence in MCH). The purpose of the Centers of Excellence in MCH Program is to: (1) strengthen and expand the MCH workforce by training graduate and post-graduate public health students in MCH and (2) advance MCH science, research, practice and policy through a well-trained MCH public health workforce.
