DESCRIPTION
Please join the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Office of Minority Health Resource Center for a Tribal Vision, Design and Capacity (VDC) technical grant writing workshop. This training provides American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) professionals with strategies to make grant proposals more competitive.

In an effort to bring more comprehensive training directly to Indian Country, we are excited to announce that in collaboration with the Office of Minority Health Resource Center, HHS will host several trainings Tribal Vision, Design and Capacity technical grant writing workshops across Indian Country. This 2 day training provides American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) professionals with strategies to make grant proposals more competitive and is designed specifically for tribes and tribal organizations.

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to leverage SAMHSA funding (including TI-18-016, TI-18-015, and TI 17-014) for tribal responses to the opioid crisis by supporting culturally relevant research built upon projects supported by SAMHSA. The topic of the research project will vary depending on how funding is used in tribal communities.
