    The Western Tribal Diabetes Project is excited to announce this year’s Native Fitness XV training!

    Registration is now open, and will fill up fast!

    The event will take place at the Nike World Headquarters, September 6-7, 2018 in Beaverton, OR. Native Fitness is fun, active, hands-on, and provides curriculum and resources to bring home. You will join other tribal organizations from around the nation with opportunities to network, share successes, and develop new strategies. We look forward to your participation and hosting a successful event. Over the past 14 years 1,500 participants from 170 tribes have attended Native Fitness.

    Be a part of the Healthy People 2030 development process! Register to attend the 11th meeting of the Secretary’s Advisory Committee on National Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Objectives for 2030. The meeting will be held in Washington, DC and is open to the public.

    Registration is required. Space is limited and registration will close once we reach maximum capacity.

    At this meeting, the Committee will:

    • Continue its deliberations on the Nation’s health promotion and disease prevention objectives
    • Discuss proposed recommendations and updates from several of the Committee’s subcommittees, including communication and implementation activities and stakeholder engagement
    • Develop recommendations regarding the roles of health equity, complex systems science and modeling, and summary measures in Healthy People 2030

    Abstract, symposium, and workshop submissions are now being accepted through March 2, 2018 for The 2018 CityMatCH Leadership and MCH Epidemiology Conference.

     

    The biennial conference convenes a diverse audience of more than 700 professionals from across the United States and globally, all working to improve the health of women, children and families.
