Eligibility: This is a supplement to DP17-1704 to increase public health capacity and infrastructure for chronic disease prevention, health promotion, and prevention and control of priority public health problems, by strengthening core public health functions of Tribal Epidemiology Centers. Eligibility is limited to Component A awardees of DP17-1704
Description: Supplemental funds from CDC’s National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP) are available to current Component A recipients under DP17-1704 to implement new oral health and evaluation support under FOA DP17-1704, “Building Public Health Infrastructure in Tribal Communities to Accelerate Disease Prevention and Health Promotion in Indian Country.” These activities support the purpose of DP17-1704 to build public health capacity and infrastructure in Indian Country for disease surveillance, epidemiology, prevention and control of disease, injury, or disability, and program monitoring and evaluation.
